What do you do in the University Air Squadrons? Think flight, sports and adventure. First off, you receive a very high standard of free flying instruction from serving RAF members. Sports range from team games to skiing to sub-aqua diving and virtually everything in between. Adventure training exercises could see you parachuting, mountaineering and testing yourself in a variety of situations both in the UK and overseas. You‘ll also discover that RAF people really know how to socialise. All in all, the University Air Squadrons give you the perfect introduction to life as an officer in the RAF.

Who can join?

Anyone who is a student at a British university that is affiliated to a University Air Squadrons scheme.
