For fun, fitness and fast-paced action, you can’t beat basketball. It’s also a great way to boost your team-working skills, sharpen your competitive edge and make new friends.

England Basketball

The RAF is a big supporter of youth basketball and sponsors the English under-13 to under-18 leagues. In Scotland, the RAF is title sponsor of the Junior (under-18), Cadet(te) (under-16) and under-14 national leagues.

As part of the sponsorship, the RAF holds development camps thoughout the year, giving young people across England and Scotland the opportunity to develop their skills.

At the end of a successful season, the best teams from around England and Scotland will compete in the prestigious RAF Final Fours (England) or National Cup Finals (Scotland) where the teams will go head to head to battle it out for the national champions’ crown.

The basketball season comes to a dramatic climax in March with the U13/15 Final Fours at RAF Cranwell, the U14/16/18 Final Fours at RAF DCAE Cosford and the Cadet/te and Junior Scottish National Cup Finals.
