FOOTBALL
If football is your passion, the Royal Air Force can help you to improve your talent. Reknowned for its sporting talent, the RAF is a great supporter of youth sports, encouraging young people up and down the country to get involved in sport.
Sponsorship
The Royal Air Force is proud to sponsor schools' football in both England and Scotland.
As part of the sponsorship, the RAF holds development clinics and training camps thoughout the year, giving young people across England and Scotland the opportunity to develop their skills.
The English Under-16 schools' competition, the RAF Schools’ Cup, comes to a nail biting end of the season with semi-finals, held at RAF DCAE Cosford, the RAF’s home for sport. Here, the best four boys' and girls' teams from schools across England compete for a chance to play in the finals.
The final, held at City of Manchester Stadium, home to Manchester City FC, will see the semi-final winners battle it out for the national champions’ crown. The finals always prove to be an incredible day of fun with hundreds of supporters flocking to the stadium, and are a great opportunity to showcase some of the country’s best youth football talent. The Scottish league comes to a head in May with the fantastic Girls' and Boys' Shield competitions.
