We can’t promise that you’ll come up against the next Andy Murray, but the standard of tennis in the RAF is amazingly high. It’s also very sociable and the RAF sponsors tennis events and tournaments for players of all ages starting at age four.

Get involved

  • The Halton Tennis Club at the RAF Tennis Centre near Aylesbury is the centre of RAF tennis, providing professional level coaching for young people
  • Join a tennis club at an RAF base and use the facilities. Families are encouraged to play at weekends
  • If you’re a member of the University Air Squadrons or the RAF, you can compete as an individual or as part of a team

There is no minimum playing standard but you could actually compete at international level.
